Pregelatinized Food Starches - highly functional, native or modified, granular food starches which dissolve instantly in cold water.
They have been precooked, dried and ground into flake or powder form. The starches dissolve quickly and fully, developing their full viscosity without cooking. This provides convenience for consumer foods. They are designed for no-cook applications in instant products, as well as for products to be microwaved or baked. Modified pregelatinized food starches provide improved functional properties, texture and body to a variety of instant products.
