Sales Manager for the international market in Latin America
Galam Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the international market in Latin America
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for Galam’s sales activities across Latin America and will work to grow sales of Galam’s ingredients in the following industries: food and beverages, dietary supplements, pet food, and animal feed.
Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with existing customers, expanding the portfolio of products sold, and acquiring new customers. The role involves both direct customer engagement and distributor management.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated in sales, possess strong commercial understanding, and have proven experience in market development and new customer acquisition, alongside retention and growth of existing accounts.
Position Requirements:
At least 5 years of sales management experience in the food and/or industrial raw materials sectors, B2B, in international markets.
Strong sales skills, excellent business acumen, and negotiation abilities.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships at all organizational levels (executive management, marketing, R&D, and procurement).
Experience managing distributors.
Fluent in English – spoken, written, and reading – required.
Fluent in Spanish – spoken, written, and reading – required.
Proficiency in Portuguese – an advantage.
High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Food Technology – an advantage.Willingness to work intensively and travel abroad frequently.
